can send Fax by using Analog Fax machine or a Fax Emulator.
- To use a Analog Fax, LST 2500 model phone set is required.
- Fax Emulator is supported by all sets provided by UTL.

Connection Set Up procedure
In your Phone
If for the transfer of data, both the sender and receiver
should be ready simultaneously.
If you are using LSP-3000
- Connect PC to Fixed wireless Terminal
LSP-3000 through
RS232 << --
>> RJ45 cable.
- Change the mode of your set to Next
for Fax or FAX only
>
Main menu >>Additional >>Rx call mode
>
Use arrow to select option and press menu to set the value
- Change data baud rate to 19,200
>
Main menu >> Additional >> SIO Baud rate
>
Use arrow to select option and press menu to set the value
If you are using LST-2500(F)
- Connect PC to Fixed wire Terminal
LST-2500(F) through
RS232 << --
>> RJ45 cable
- Connect 9V DC adapter to LST-2500(F)
- Change the mode of your set to
fax mode by pressing ##7#1* in the
phone connected
to your set. You can verify this step by checking
the Mode light.
- The set can be brought back to
voice mode by pressing ##7#2* in the phone
connected to your set. |

Using Analog Fax Machine
- Change LST 2500 Model phone set
to Fax Mode
- Connect Analog Fax Machine and
send the FAX |

| Using Fax Emulator |
| |
For the sender
Open a FAX Emulator (eg. Net FAX)
Open a document to be faxed
Press print and select Black Ice FAX (for Net FAX) from Printer
option
Press Sending file from file menu or from toolbar of NetFAX
Then Phone Icon will be displayed
Press called no. in the screen and then Press Send
For the receiver
Open a FAX Emulator
Press Receiving file from file menu or from toolbar of NetFAX
Then FAX will be received.
The phone needs to be in fax mode to send or receive fax.
