- DATA TRANSFER FACILITY |

 UTL
provides the facility for asynchronous data transfer with
the speed of 14.4 kbps.
- With this service , subscribers can do character-based
data transmission.
- For the purpose of data transfer, subscriber can use Hyper
Terminal (for windows) or any other data emulator.

Connection Set Up procedure
- In your Phone
For the transfer of data, both the sender and receiver should
be ready simultaneously.
If you are using LSP-3000
- Connect PC to Fixed wireless
Terminal LSP-3000 through
RS232 <<
-- >> RJ45 cable.
- Change the mode of your set
to Next for Fax or FAX only

Main menu >>Additional >>Rx call mode
>
Use arrow to select option and press menu to set the value
- Change data baud rate to 19,200
>
Main menu >> Additional >> SIO Baud rate
>
Use arrow to select option and press menu to set the value
If you are using LST-2500(F)
- Connect PC to Fixed wire Terminal
LST-2500(F) through
RS232 <<
-- >> RJ45 cable
- Connect 9V DC adapter to LST-2500(F)
- Change the mode of your set
to fax mode by pressing ##7#1* in the phone
connected to your set. You can verify this step by checking
the Mode light.
- The set can be brought back
to voice mode by pressing ##7#2* in the phone
connected to your set.
- In your computer
Open Hyper Terminal in windows
- Open Properties
from File menu or from Toolbar
- Select the communication port
(e.g.: COM 1)
- Configure the COM1 Properties
as:

Bits per seconds: 19200
>
Data bits: 8
>
Parity bits: None
>
Stop bits: 1
>
Flow control: Hardware

At the sender's end
Press Call from Call Menu
Type atz and press enter - to check
line status
Reply will be OK
Type atdt [phone no.] -e.g. atdt2901001
You can type the text you want to on the main windows of hyper
terminal.
To send a file
Press Send File…. from Transfer
Menu
Choose the sending file from the browser and press
Send
At the Receiver's end
Press Wait for a call from Call Menu
in Hyper Terminal window
Type atz and press enter - to check line status
Type ats0=2 -to select no. of rings before receiving data
You will automatically get connected
To receive a file
Press Receive File …. from Transfer
